Saturday, June 20, 2009 (PST) - 2009 WIUSATF Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships

The 2009 Wisconsin Association USA Track & Field Junior Olympic Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held June 18-20 at Carroll University in Waukesha.



The 2009 Wisconsin Association Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships will be held Saturday June 20 at Carroll University. Directions to the facility are available in the meet brocure (available in the Downloads sections).

Active USATF Clubs in good standing may register online at the following web site http://www.harriersolutions.com/entries/wiusatf09.htm.  Please make sure your club meets the eligibility requirements for registering online.

USATF membership is required for all participants. Please obtain your USATF membership online at http://www.usatf.org/membership. Junior Olympic athletes must be age 18 or younger as of August 2, 2009 and be a Wisconsin resident to participate.  Proof of age is required for the Championships.  Refer to the meet brochure for complete information.

Combined events will be held Thursday and Friday June 18-29.  Racewalking will be held Saturday June 20 at 7:45 AM.  Refer to the meet brochure for complete information.

All paper entry forms must be postmarked by June 11. Paper entry forms postmarked after June 11 will not be accepted. Absolutely no entries will be accepted the day of competition.  Entries will be posted on the WIUSATF web site. It's your responsibility to verify your entries.

Relays are limited to USATF club teams in good standing.  Unattached or high school relays are not permitted.

Check-in/packet pick-up opens at 7:00 AM and continues throughout the day. It is recommended you allow plenty of time before competition to check-in.  Packet pick-up will be in the Quad Graphics Team Support Center on the Mezzanine level adjacent to the track.

Athlete participating in the 100 Meter Dash and 200 Meter Dash will be required to declare their intent to compete on meet day.  Declarations will be next to registration.  100 Meter declarations open at 9:15 AM.  The 200 Meter declaration will be held during the 1500 Meter run.
